Chapter 6: Managing Jobs76
What is a Job?
Visualizing the PDF Creation Process
Whenever you create a PDF document using Instant
PDF, a new Job is created.
A Job represents the entire set of actions that occur
when you use Instant PDF to generate a Certified
PDF document. It is your primary means of manag-
ing the PDF creation process.
Working with Jobs
The Jobs you submitted to a PDF Queue are dis-
played in the Job List View. Jobs give you more con-
trol over the PDF creation process:
You use them to follow the progress of the
different steps in the PDF creation process.
You use them to pause or cancel the PDF
creation process if required.
